• Delphamp [GNU GPL] - Delphamp is an Open Source media player developped in Delphi. It\'s becoming a Winamp clone, you already can use Winamp skins. And it has most of stuff that you can find in Winamp.
• Zinf [GNU GPL] - The Zinf audio player is a simple, but powerful audio player for Linux and Win32. It supports MP3, Ogg/Vorbis, WAV and Audio CD playback, SHOUTcast/Icecast HTTP streaming, RTP streaming, a powerful music browser, theme support and a download manager.
• VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, ogg, ...) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols.
• LongPlayer [GNU GPL] - LongPlayer is a program that automatically fills your Winamp, XMMS or iTunes playlist. It basically replaces the randomization feature of those media players.
• CoolPlayer [GNU GPL] - Blazing Fast Audio Player for Win32 Environments.
• SnackAmp [GNU GPL] - SnackAmp is a multi-platform music player with normal music player abilities, multi-user support, integrated web server, and a powerful AutoPlaylist feature. Currently mp3, wav, ogg vorbis,and many other sound files are supported.
• NotifyCD [GNU GPL] - NotifyCD is a small system tray based CDDB supporting CD player for Windows 9x/NT/2000.
• MP3Gain [GNU LGPL] - MP3Gain analyzes and adjusts mp3 files so that they have the same volume.
• MPLayer Control [GNU GPL] - MPlayer Control is an MPlayer GUI (frontend) for Windows. MPlayer is the best media player under GNU-GPL license.
• Mixxx [GNU GPL] - Open Source DJ tool.
• Songbird [GNU GPL] - Songbirdâ„¢ is a desktop Web player, a digital jukebox and Web browser mash-up.
• foobar2000 - Foobar2000 is an advanced audio player for the Windows platform. Some of the basic features include full unicode support, ReplayGain support and native support for several popular audio formats.
• Xine [GNU GPL] - xine is a free multimedia player. It plays back CDs, DVDs, and VCDs. It also decodes multimedia files like AVI, MOV, WMV, and MP3 from local disk drives, and displays multimedia streamed over the Internet. It interprets many of the most common multimedia formats available - and some of the most uncommon formats, too.

• MPlayer [GNU GPL] - MPlayer is a movie player which runs on many systems (see the documentation). It plays most MPEG/VOB, AVI, Ogg/OGM, VIVO, ASF/WMA/WMV, QT/MOV/MP4, RealMedia, Matroska, NUT, NuppelVideo, FLI, YUV4MPEG, FILM, RoQ, PVA files, supported by many native, XAnim, and Win32 DLL codecs. You can watch VideoCD, SVCD, DVD, 3ivx, DivX 3/4/5 and even WMV movies.

• GPAC - Multimedia framework behind MP4Box and Osmo4.
• Vitessa [GNU GPL] - Vitessa is simple computer program that enables you to control playback of digital video data on your computer in order to analyse the content in a structured manner.
